Spotlight

Mira Catalina has a strong academic program which develops the social, emotional, and academic skills of students in a positive, nurturing, and safe environment.  Students have opportunities to be challenged academically while building positive self-esteem. Mira Catalina Elementary School strives to create independent, well-rounded, life-long learners. Establishing a sense of Community where students, teachers, and parents feel connected to and supported by one another is vital. Our Superstar behavior program promotes Safe Choices, Taking Responsibility, Acing Kindly, Respectful Citizens, & Successful learners. We encourage individual initiative: personal best, creativity, dreams, and imagination. Respecting individual differences: cultures, interests, and abilities, is imperative to our success. Finally, instilling the joy and value of learning that lasts a lifetime is the aim of Mira Catalina’s mission.
