  This is how you can start drafting your book report. Gather all your graphic organizers and notes, brainstorm what are the most important topics for YOU to write about. Take main ideas and begin writing! I also like to talk it out, or plan across my fingers before beginning to write. I am going to post a file with a sample paragraph.

  Measuring customary length overview. It would be very helpful if you had a measuring tape or ruler so you can follow along!
  
  I have given you a day extension for the math work. Please take two days to really soak in customary length- quarter inches, half inches, inches, feet, yards, and miles. You have TODAY and TOMORROW to work on customary length (everything has been pushed back one day).
  
  I would encourage you to measure objects around the house. Start with smaller objects like erasers, pencils, cups to measure to the nearest quarter inch. Next, using feet and yards measure larger objects like tables, beds, chairs, etc. Finally, using an app, fitness tracker, or timer to see how long it would take you to walk a mile around your neighborhood.
