here's a quick video to give you a reminder about homophones remember what the word means same sound so it has the same sound but words that have different spellings and different meanings an easy one to confuse are there and their remember the one with the I can remind us that means belonging to or personal usually you find the use for are with the eye in front of a noun showing that it's going to have ownership the final one there with the contraction you can replace the two words they are in the sentence if it sounds right then you know to use the form of there with the apostrophe the same is true for your and you're if you can say you are in the sentence and it makes sense then you want to use the form of your with the if we look at the second grade book we're going to find the same skill we're going to find some other homophones as well the one that's easy to get done is the form of two with the oo it's usually used at the end of a sentence and remember it means many for also once again there's are forms of there the one with the eye belonging and finally it's a Nets it's and it's is a tricky rule but if you just go by the one with the apostrophe if you can say it is in the sentence and it makes sense just like the contraction form of the Sahara apostrophe ownership is the rule breaker that uses no apostrophe I hope that's helpful
